Birtsos Legal was established in 2016 by its principal, Maria Birtsos. Maria has a background in civil and commercial litigation with a primary focus in insurance recoveries, insolvency and building and construction law. Maria’s diverse expertise has been gained from working in a variety of private and public sectors including boutique general practice, as a Litigator for the Insolvency team of the Australian Taxation Office and heading the Adelaide office of a national law firm owned and operated by one of Australia’s largest debt collection agencies.

Maria’s drive to offer a personalised service and pragmatic approach in dispute resolution together her wealth of experience and specialist knowledge, resulted in the establishment of Birtsos Legal.
